Comic application to educational books has always been entertaining, except for some of those that fall with "too-serious" script writer. They tend to present the comics with a strong passion to teach. But, who need that in comic anyway? Meet this comic book: Komik Perencanaan Keuangan, MR Edu.Glad that we have a script writer like Putri Dewi M.R. that puts lots of effort to make "financial planning lesson" considerably funny. Yes, with a sense of manga-like humor, she takes us scene-to-scene without ever making we feel "alerted" by being stimulated with financial planning ideas. Definitely, the consoling pictures are also the main-course here. Andi Zaenuddin may not yet be a well-known illustrator in Indonesia, but his hand is indeed talented. He dramatized the scenes if necessary and properly to makes us laugh, at least smile :) Mike Rini Sutikno, the financial counselor who endorsed this comic book project, hopes that people would like this kind of approach. She has the idea that soon people will become more aware of how important financial planning is, and this comic book is served to be some kind of "financial planning for dummies". But, this mission still was not easy to be accomplished. Media Vista needed almost a year to finish it. We were involved from the beginning, from the raw ideas to the publishing desk, hand-in-hand with all members of the team. We are happy to present this book for all of you whom in need of financial planning advice, but do not want to be trapped in some of "classroom situation". |
